90 hours of Community Health & my paper-writing...
Hello! For these last few weeks, I’ve had a really really crazy schedule with nonstop clinical-work-class-clinical-work-class, etc.. and with lots and lots of assignments to do in between. I’m graduating in less than one month.. and thankfully I haven’t caught senioritis quite yet! Gotta finish strong!

Receiving gifts.
It’s been about a few weeks or months (I don’t even remember anymore) since the last time I’ve written, and it’s already the 6th week of Spring Quarter, meaning that I only have 5 more academic weeks of my college career left before me. Ahhhhhhhh!
These past few weeks/months have been quite crazy, as evidenced by my chronic lack of posting. I apologize to all my readers....

Mommy Day
My mom was gone for a retreat these last few days, so after small group last night I rushed home to spend time and ‘baby’-sit my sister. She’s 17, but still a baby to me! After 120 hours of nights for school and 72 hours of night for work, I am done..

Today was my last day of Pediatrics.
Throughout my rotation at CHOC, I’ve learned 5 valuable things.
1) Pediatrics is not for me. Maybe one day, but not today. I love kids, but seeing sick kids is too much. and there is more time and energy that goes to taking care of families than there is time to take care of the hospitalized child. Too much.

So these last 5 weeks I’ve had two clinicals a week, both usually starting ~6:30 to 6:45 am. I usually like waking up about two hours before it starts so I can grab a cup of coffee and read & pray before I start my day.
