Will we be ready?
At CCM retreat last week, our discussion was led to the topic of the second coming of Christ. We were talking about how this truth can so often become such an obscure idea to us that we don’t perceive it to be “news”. We base alot of our lives around news all the time…It’s been raining all week, and the weather forecast says that it will rain again tomorrow- so as...

You may thank me someday, you know. I was supposed to finish finals on Wednesday this year, but because of you I have to wait til Friday. I have one more clinical rotation to go to and I have two night...

And He hears even our simplest prayers..
So these last 5 weeks I’ve had two clinicals a week, both usually starting ~6:30 to 6:45 am. I usually like waking up about two hours before it starts so I can grab a cup of coffee and read & pray before I start my day. The past 3 weeks have been pretty crazy and I haven’t been able to wake up in time to read. 7 loud alarms would blow up in my ear in the morning and I would sleep...
