So these last 5 weeks I’ve had two clinicals a week, both usually starting ~6:30 to 6:45 am. I usually like waking up about two hours before it starts so I can grab a cup of coffee and read & pray before I start my day.
The past 3 weeks have been pretty crazy and I haven’t been able to wake up in time to read. 7 loud alarms would blow up in my ear in the morning and I would sleep right through it. These last three weeks, I’ve only had enough time to get a cup of coffee. Rushed prayers as I walk through the door, and that would mark the start of my day.
Yesterday I got to bed at a later hour than usual but prayed that God would help me wake up early enough to read.
4:45am and I’m up baby

Even our simplest prayers are heard.
How blessed we are that our Father hears us,
and that He is willing and able to help us! :)
‘twas a sweet and much needed reminded in lieu of finals week.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him
Matthew 7:9-11
